So today it seem like the rumors of Resident Evil 6 being re-release on next gen awhile ago are true and with resident evil 20th anniversary already here Capcom is dropping more then just one resident evil announcement this year but a few being around older resident evil titles and today had few making a return well resident evil 4,5, and 6 being confirmed for re-release this year with resident evil 6 being next after resident evil HD & resident evil zero HD was release not that far long ago.
So what new with resident evil 6 being re-release? well it come with all the additional post-launch content from the last gen console version and with this announcement also came more Resident Evil news and that is the confirmation of Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 4 also being re-released as well on the next gen systems.
So now I’m assuming that Resident Evil 5 will include all DLC as well but what surprises me a little bit is that resident evil 4 is the last on the list to be released because resident evil 6 will be released first on March 29 and then you have Resident Evil 5 that gets released in the summer then you have Resident Evil 4 which gets released in the fall but I’m surprised by this a bit because why the fall for resident evil 4 capcom? You’ll think that Capcom would just released resident evil 4, 5, & 6 in that order but its opposite and I’m also thinking that maybe the reason why Resident Evil 4 is going to be released last is because Capcom have some surprises in store for those waiting for Resident Evil 4 on next gen? I can be totally wrong and it could just be another re-release with nothing special included but who knows maybe just maybe Capcom might add Resident Evil 2 remake demo with resident evil 4 re-release you never know? and you always gotta save the best for last right? But that’s my opinion and speculation.
So Resident 4, 5, and 6 will all be available digitally on PS4 and XboxOne for MSRP $19.99 / €19.99 / £15.99 each starting with Resident Evil 6 on March 29, Resident Evil 5 in summer 2016 and Resident Evil 4 in fall 2016. The Great news is that it still being release in a Physical disc versions and will also be available in the Americas.
